Job summary

Co-op Legal Services is seeking a Will Writer to join our UK-wide team. You will draft wills and powers of attorney, handle estate planning files and take client instructions with care, in a role that supports progression within a collaborative, supportive environment.

This remote-friendly position can be performed from anywhere in the UK or on site at our offices if preferred. Salary ranges from £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting wills and advising clients relating to estate planning matters; taking client instructions.
• Experience drafting wills across varying complexities, including more technically complex estate planning matters.
• Ability to manage cases and achieve billing and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Document and write wills of various complexity, write powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation, ensuring accuracy and professional drafting.
• Communicate with clients and external partners via phone and written communication throughout each case.
• Manage incoming case load and work with parties toward successful completion.
• Accurately maintain client records and correspondence on our systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
