Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is helping a high-quality training provider fill a Trainee Early Years Assessor role. Based at home with learners in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas, you will manage caseloads and guide learners through their apprenticeship journey.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Deputy Manager in a nursery, a UK driving licence, and a willingness to balance remote work with learner visits. Salary ranges from £27k to £29k, with full travel expenses and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience as a Deputy Manager or higher in a Nursery setting (for unqualified assessor applicants).
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Home Based - covering Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area.
• Combination of home working/remote and occasional learner visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners remotely and on-site visits.
• Provide mentorship and coaching through to completion of the apprenticeship qualification.
