Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. is seeking a software engineer for the Data Division to design, implement, validate and maintain satellite flight software, and to support ground tools and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with Systems, Electronics and Mission Operations teams to integrate subsystems, perform verification, and contribute to post-launch operations, while driving improvements in architecture and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience transitioning from C/C++ to Rust in production environments.
• Strong Linux development skills with scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, validate, and maintain satellite flight software.
• Support ground tools and ensure reliability for space missions.
• Develop features for Linux and RTOS-based systems.
• Participate in code reviews, tests, and CI/CD processes.
• Maintain configuration control and full software traceability.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electronics and Mission Operations teams.
• Contribute to post-launch operations and integration activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture, design and processes.
