Job summary

Sumo Logic, Inc. is seeking an SDR to initiate conversations with security and cloud operations leaders, qualify opportunities, and hand off to account executives. You will craft concise outreach, conduct discovery calls, and tailor messages to SOC analysts, cloud engineers, or CISOs.

You’ll research target accounts, manage campaigns across channels, respond to inbound leads, and document activities in Salesforce. Remote work from the UK is supported with travel for events as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to write clear, concise outreach and hold a good phone conversation.
• Curiosity about security, cloud, and data; base technical knowledge preferred.
• Resilience and willingness to take coaching.
• Organization and the discipline to follow a process.
• Comfort with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or similar).
• 0–2 years in sales, customer-facing, or business development roles; related experience counts.

Responsibilities

• Write concise outbound outreach and conduct discovery calls.
• Research target accounts and identify security/cloud contacts.
• Run outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn and events.
• Qualify inbound leads for fit, need, and timing; hand off to AE when ready.
