A leading healthcare service in Manchester is looking for experienced Nurses or Midwives to work in a remote patient support line for a fixed term of 12 months. The role requires delivering safe and effective care over the phone, managing clinical decisions autonomously, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates should have qualifications in nursing or midwifery, along with experience in a sexual health setting and the ability to communicate empathetically. Weekend and evening shifts included.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a sexual health or abortion service.
• Ultrasound scanning experience in first and second trimester.
• Experience providing clinical advice over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective care over the phone.
• Assess and provide post-abortion and sexual health information.
• Document patient care clearly in Electronic Patient Records.
