Job summary

Aikido is seeking a Sales Engineer in the United Kingdom to bridge customers and our product team. You’ll partner with Account Executives to run technical demos, guide evaluations, and clearly demonstrate the value of our platform.

The role is heavily pre-sales, translating complex concepts for developers, security teams, and other technical stakeholders. You’ll run POCs, tailor product walkthroughs to customer use cases, and feed feedback to product and engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales role.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
• Hands-on mindset, able to troubleshoot and dig into technical workflows.
• Commutable to Ghent or London.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, clear way.
• Strong technical foundation (cloud, DevOps, security, or developer tooling) and experience running demos, POCs, and technical evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive pre-sales and run technical demos.
• Translate customer use cases into product walkthroughs.
• Run proofs-of-concept and guide evaluations.
• Explain how Aikido fits into their code cloud runtime environments.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical questions during the sales process.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to developers, security teams, and engineering leaders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to relay customer feedback.
