Job summary

A leading IT recruitment firm is seeking a Penetration Tester for a remote role lasting 12 months. You will conduct comprehensive web and infrastructure penetration tests, participate in meetings to define testing requirements, and ensure compliance with NATO policies. Candidates need at least 3 years of experience in penetration testing and must hold or be willing to obtain SC or NATO Secret Clearance. Competitive rate of €75 per hour offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in penetration testing at least 3 years.
• Candidates must hold or be willing to undergo SC or Nato Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide web, infrastructure, and application-level penetration testing.
• Participate in kick-off meetings to identify testing requirements.
• Brief on security reports and testing outcomes.
• Provide security design reviews for compliance with NATO policies.

Skills

Web application penetration testing

IT infrastructure penetration testing

Network security architecture design

Assessing security vulnerabilities within OS, software, protocols & networks

Researching and evaluating security products & technologies

Knowledge in system and network administration of UNIX and Windows systems

Use of penetration testing tools, techniques, and recognized testing methodologies

Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Go, PowerShell, shell (bash, ksh, csh)

Technical knowledge in system and network security

Knowledge of authentication and security protocols
