Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director, Capture Management Lead to join the Nuclear Growth team. You will drive strategic growth and own capture and positioning strategies for enterprise-level pursuits typically £25m+ revenue, reporting to the Nuclear Sector Director.

The role requires visionary leadership, cross-functional collaboration with global and regional teams, governance of bids and budgets, and ensuring client engagement across opportunities. Flexible remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in capture management, strategic bids or business development within the engineering or major infrastructure sectors.
• Good understanding of the UK nuclear market, clients and procurement routes.
• Experience coordinating complex pursuits with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and win enterprise critical pursuits as the Capture Lead from identification to submission.
• Direct discovery, differentiation, and delivery strategies for major programmes with key accounts.
• Own pursuit governance, budgets, team composition and partnering/supply chain selection.
• Lead capture strategy development, client listening, win strategy, and bid reviews.
• Collaborate with global/regional leaders to develop growth plans aligned with strategy.
