Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Business Development Director for the UK Nuclear sector. You will identify and deliver growth opportunities, develop strategic client relationships, and drive multi-disciplinary bids across the UK in partnership with CAMs and regional leaders.

You will lead capture efforts, maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, and ensure alignment with AECOM’s practices, while collaborating with internal teams to secure high-margin, differentiated propositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/technical discipline.
• Membership of a recognised professional body.
• Experience in sector-related technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep relationships with key clients in the sector, collaborating with CAMs and Regional Sector Leads.
• Coordinate with CAMs to align priorities and convert opportunities for all disciplines across the UK for YoY NSR growth.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships and partnerships to drive repeat business.
• Ensure links with all Business Lines to maximise sector wins, especially with the nuclear delivery team.
• Act as a Capture Manager for strategic opportunities where appropriate.
• Share intel from client engagements to inform decision-making and pursuit planning.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on UK pipeline and market developments.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline to provide actionable insight for decisions.
• Drive cross-division collaboration when projects require multi-disciplinary expertise.
