Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join a distributed virtual operations team. You will deliver expert remote support for servers, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance across the infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, automate routine tasks with scripting, and document configurations and procedures to sustain high reliability and security in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure support with remote administration.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, OS (Windows Server, Linux), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level remote troubleshooting for server, network, and cloud infra issues.
• Monitor system performance and optimize for uptime and efficiency.
• Manage virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Implement IT security best practices, patch management, and access control.
