Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud environments from a home office. You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, automate deployments, monitor performance, and collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar infrastructure role.
Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools and scripting (Python, Bash).
Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications and services.
Ensure the security, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of cloud environments.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment and infrastructure integration.
