Job summary

Placements24 is seeking motivated individuals for an Apprentice IT Support Technician role, based entirely remotely. The program provides practical experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for users across the organization, plus comprehensive online training and remote mentoring.

You will gain industry certifications including CompTIA A+, with regular salary reviews and flexible remote work conditions designed to support learning and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; superb communication and customer service for remote interaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to users experiencing hardware, software, or network problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures accurately.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
