Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Network Administrator to manage and maintain a robust network infrastructure for a distributed workforce. You will ensure stability, security, and performance of network systems while working from a remote location.

Responsibilities include designing and managing LAN/WAN, monitoring performance, configuring routers/switches/firewalls/VPNs, and maintaining documentation; strong communication and autonomous work style required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network hardware.
• Hands-on experience with network security, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and autonomous work skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage LANs, WANs, and other networks.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize speed.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure network security with security protocols, IDS, and access controls.
• Provide remote support for network issues and user connectivity.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
