Job summary

EQ Customer Resolutions is offering a Customer Service Agent role focused on supporting home insurance claims. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, review online claims, and provide clear, empathetic responses to customers in a remote UK setting.

The position requires 1–3 years of telephone CS experience, with insurance knowledge advantageous. 35 hours weekly across rotating shifts; initial 3‑month term with extension potential.

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years' of telephone customer service experience.
• Financial services / insurance experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound call activity with insurance customers.
• Managing and reviewing online claims and progressing them with fair judgement and good decision‑making skills.
• Providing clear and informative responses to customers.
• Maintaining high customer experience standards with empathy.
• Creating clear and concise call notes ensuring all details are captured.
• Escalating customer queries where appropriate.
• Seeing all customer interactions through to resolution and completing associated administrative tasks.
• Take responsibility for queries/issues through to resolution.
• Manage expectations of all internal and external customers.
