Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Service Sales Manager to lead the Grid Integration Service business across the UK and Ireland. You will shape and execute the regional service sales strategy, drive orders, revenue growth and long-term service agreements.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders, lead negotiations, and mentor a high-performing team while collaborating with operations, engineering and project management to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Experience in service sales, account management, or business development.
• Background within energy, utilities, power systems, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of Grid Integration, HVDC, FACTS, renewable integration, or asset lifecycle management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Grid Integration Service sales strategy across the UK and Ireland.
• Drive orders, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify and convert new service opportunities across the installed customer base.
• Expand lifecycle service offerings and grow long-term service agreements.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support effective contract and risk management.
• Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing service sales team.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and sustainable business growth.
