Canonical is seeking a Global Partner Sales Director to drive Ubuntu-based solutions with Global System Integrator partners, leading engagements from engineers to CxO levels and shaping long-term digital transformation platforms.

This home-based role requires extensive alliance experience, cloud technologies, and exceptional communication to capture opportunities and drive results, with up to 40% international travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management.
• Experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers and cloud technologies.
• Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, and results-driven.
• Strong ability to capture customer requirements and create opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passionate about Ubuntu products and mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with GSI partners across sales cycles.
• Lead strategy, sell-to, sell-through and sell-with motions with partners.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales engineering and product management to hit targets.
• Animate customer workshops, sales events and executive engagements.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with partner organizations.
• Travel up to 40 percent, sometimes internationally.
