Job summary
Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team and seeks technically skilled professionals to sell Ubuntu and Ubuntu Core for IoT to enterprise customers. The role involves prospecting, developing strategic accounts, and closing contracts to achieve bookings targets across embedded Linux, RTOS, and related enterprise software.
Ideal candidates possess field sales experience in embedded/enterprise software, strong English communication, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory sales plan to prioritize security-focused brands and manufacturers.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote brand and increase market awareness.
- Develop pipeline through outreach, local marketing, and industry events.
- Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with Field Engineers to understand customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate data and forecasts in Salesforce.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers across accounts.
