Job summary

Agfa-Gevaert is seeking an Engineer to join our fully remote team, delivering technical service support to customers, repairing and installing Wide Format printing equipment, and logging issues with clear closure.

Based in the UK, you will travel to client sites across the UK and Ireland, with occasional trips to Europe. A UK driving licence and a company car or travel allowance are provided, and strong English communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in repairing and installing Wide Format printing equipment.
• Proven remote/customer-facing work-from-home experience.
• Strong self-motivation with the discipline to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Willingness to travel across UK & Ireland; valid UK driving licence and company car or travel allowance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain customer equipment.
• Carry out pre-installations and installations.
• Provide remote call pre-qualification and remote fixes where possible.
• Document and close technical issues with clear logging.
• Support customers in UK/IE, with occasional travel to Europe.
• Maintain and share knowledge through training and learning opportunities.
