Job summary

Apogee Corporation is seeking a remote Service Engineer to travel to customer sites and maintain production printers and office equipment. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and install equipment while providing excellent customer service.

The role supports a fully remote pattern with regular office meetings and training; DBS and SC clearance are required for the position. A typical week runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with a one-hour lunch break.

Qualifications

• Experience fixing production printers and digital presses.
• Experience in the office equipment industry.
• Strong IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and set up scanning functions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service requests for the repair of business equipment and production printers
• Carry out fault diagnosis and establish effective repairs through adjustment, cleaning or replacement of spare parts
• Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations from service management
• Work with colleagues to help overcome new or unusual faults
• Invoke the call escalation process in a timely manner
• Inform the customer on the work carried out and gain acceptance to the machines condition and performance following the service work you have completed
• Carry out the installation of equipment sold by the company and ensure the machine performs to the customers satisfaction
