Job summary

Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection is seeking a Field Service Support Engineer to deliver service, repair and commissioning of gas detection equipment across utilities, oil & gas, marine, and related markets. You will work remotely from home with UK travel to customer sites, providing on-site installation, troubleshooting and technical support.

The role requires fault-finding skills, the ability to read electrical drawings, and a full driving licence, with scheduling responsibilities and

Qualifications

• Fault finding skills.
• Able to read circuit diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Full driving licence required.
• Experience with Permit To Work schemes.
• Based from home in the UK with travel to sites within territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair and commissioning of gas detection equipment and systems.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance and liaise on technical matters.
• Plan and undertake routine service calls within defined territory; manage spares and consumables.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to Service Manager with call plans.
