Job summary

Your Jared is seeking a highly capable Service Engineer to join our gas detection systems team. You will install, commission, service and repair equipment at UK customer sites, often remotely, while maintaining strong customer relationships and reporting on-site activities.

Ideal candidates will have field service experience in gas detection or related industries, strong fault-finding skills, a relevant technical qualification and a willingness to travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in gas detection, industrial safety or related sectors is essential.
• Proven field service experience at customer sites.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission gas detection equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical faults.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Read wiring diagrams and system specifications; complete service reports.
