Job summary

ACS Performance Ltd is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to install, commission, service and repair gas detection systems at customer sites across the UK. This remote/field-based role requires fault-finding expertise and strong customer interaction.

Applicants should have experience in gas detection, industrial safety or process instrumentation, plus a relevant technical qualification and a UK driving licence. Travel to customer sites will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission gas detection equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical faults.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and system specifications.
• Complete service documentation and reports after site visits.
