Job summary

Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection seeks a Field Service Support Engineer to service, repair and commission gas detection equipment across utilities, oil and gas, marine and industrial markets. You will guide customers in operation and maintenance and liaise on technical matters for assigned projects.

Based from home with travel to sites within the assigned territory, you'll deliver on-site support, troubleshooting and diagnostics, while ensuring safety protocols and reporting to the Service

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Scheduling of work diary and field activities.
• Computer literacy and ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Experience with Permit To Work schemes and safety compliance.
• Full valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair and commissioning of gas detection equipment.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of systems; act as liaison on technical matters.
• Prepare weekly and monthly service reports and call plans for the Service Manager.
• Coordinate with sales/engineering on problem resolution and customer requirements.
