Job summary

ACS Performance Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Engineer for a remote, field-based role across the UK. You will install, commission, service and repair gas detection systems at customer sites and provide both on-site and remote support.

The ideal candidate has strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, with experience in gas detection, industrial safety or process instrumentation, and holds a relevant technical qualification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gas detection, industrial safety or process industries is essential.
• Proven field service experience at customer sites and the ability to work independently.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with understanding of technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission gas detection equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical faults.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Read technical documents, wiring diagrams and system specifications.
• Complete service reports after site visits and ensure safety standards.
