Job summary

ACS Performance in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their gas detection and industrial safety team. This remote/field-based role covers installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of gas detection systems at UK customer sites.

You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, and provide both on-site and remote support while maintaining safety and quality standards. Essential gas detection experience and driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Previous field service experience in gas detection, industrial safety or process industries.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Good IT skills and proficiency with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission gas detection equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical faults.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Read technical docs and wiring diagrams; provide clear reports.

Education

Engineering qualification (apprenticeship/HNC/HND/degree)
