Job summary

Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair gas detection equipment from a home base in the UK. You will travel to client sites, perform on-site commissioning, calibrations and fault diagnostics across utilities, oil and gas, and industrial markets.

You will liaise with customers, interpret requirements, and ensure compliance with safety and permit-to-work schemes while maintaining documentation and service records.

Qualifications

• Fault finding and repair of gas detection equipment.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel within territory.
• Based from home in Birmingham area.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair and commissioning of gas detection equipment.
• Plan routine service calls within territory and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain spare parts, consumables and test equipment.
• Provide weekly/monthly service reports to the Service Manager.
