Job summary

risr/ is seeking an Events Specialist to own delivery of international conferences, exhibitions, community days, customer events and webinars. You will coordinate go-to-market team inputs, book venues, manage suppliers, and ensure deadlines, costs and outcomes are met.

Most work is remote from the UK with some UK events and occasional international travel. You’ll report on spend, manage exhibitor portals, and drive post-event reviews to improve future events.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience organising events from start to finish.
• Ability to manage multiple events with tight deadlines and varying scopes.
• Strong attention to detail and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with clear stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a long-term events calendar for conferences, exhibitions, community days and webinars.
• Book venues, sponsorships, and manage contracts, payments and deadlines.
• Own exhibitor portals, insurance, risk assessments, branding and registrations.
• Coordinate on-site services, AV, stand furniture and logistics, including shipping and customs for international events.
• Plan, register attendees, and manage communications for webinars and online events.
• Measure costs and outcomes, produce post-event reports and learning for future events.
