Job summary

Imperial Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager based in the North West region, with full remote work options available. You will lead the electrical engineering function, act as the Technical Authority, and drive safe, reliable operation of HV/LV assets across multiple sites.

You will manage a team of engineers and contractors, oversee maintenance strategies, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with 18th Edition and relevant

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification is essential.
• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent.
• HV SAP or Authorising Engineer certification required.
• Minimum 5 years' management experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with HV/LV systems, BESS, and gas peaking plants preferred.
• Strong fault diagnosis and testing capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for electrical engineering across assets and maintenance.
• Act as Technical Authority for Electrical Engineering and ensure compliance with safety and standards.
• Lead and mentor the electrical team and contractors.
• Plan, execute and close out capital projects and modifications.
• Develop maintenance strategies, asset management plans and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with DNOs, NESOs and other third parties for outages and upgrades.
