Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Digital Engagement Worker in Swindon to support people experiencing lower-level drug and alcohol concerns through structured virtual support. You’ll engage clients via telephone, Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms, creating safe spaces where individuals feel heard and empowered to take positive steps.

The role is home-based across Swindon with occasional service-location visits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people affected by drug and alcohol use.
• Ability to engage people using digital platforms and phone/video calls.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments, recovery planning, brief interventions and ongoing support.
• Use motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approaches to encourage engagement.
• Coordinate with local partners to connect people with appropriate digital and community services.
