An excellent opportunity has become available for a confident and capable Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a highly regarded firm that operates exclusively in contentious wills, estates and trusts disputes. This role is well suited to a solicitor seeking exposure to complex, high-value matters while working alongside specialists in a flexible and progressive environment.
You will join a national team of Contentious Probate lawyers and take responsibility for a varied caseload of disputed wills, inheritance claims and trust litigation. With a consistent stream of high-quality instructions, the role requires someone who can manage cases independently and make an immediate contribution to the team.
This position is designed for a solicitor with substantial experience in Contentious Probate. Candidates should have at least three years of focused experience in this area and be able to demonstrate a strong history of handling matters autonomously.
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of three years' PQE and significant, hands‑on experience in Contentious Probate work. You should be confident managing claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, will validity disputes, executor and trustee disputes and trust litigation. The role requires the ability to manage a full caseload independently, alongside excellent communication and client care skills.
