Job summary

Integrated Care 24 (IC24) is recruiting Clinical Advisors to assess patients over the phone using NHS Pathways and provide evidence-based clinical guidance. You will work in a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced urgent care setting from Peterborough, handling a variety of cases with clinical judgement and empathy.

Roles include full-time and part-time shifts, training provided, and opportunities to develop within a not‑for‑profit NHS-focused organisation delivering care across the UK.

Qualifications

• Registered Adult Nurse or Paramedic with at least two years' post-registration experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency care.
• Excellent assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical assessment of patients with a wide range of conditions using NHS Pathways and professional clinical judgement.
• Provide safe, evidence-based self-care advice, safety-netting and onward referrals.
• Support patients through difficult situations with empathy and reassurance.
• Provide clinical guidance to Health Advisors during escalated or complex calls.
• Make timely clinical decisions prioritising patient safety within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the urgent care system to support patient pathways.
