Integrated Care 24 (IC24) is recruiting an experienced Clinical Advisor to perform remote clinical assessments for NHS 111 callers. You will use NHS Pathways to assess, provide evidence-based advice and ensure patients receive appropriate care at the right time.

We welcome registered Adult Nurses and Paramedics with post-registration experience, offering a flexible 24/7 rota and training. Location: Peterborough, with hybrid options after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Registered Adult Nurse or Paramedic with at least two years' post-registration experience in primary/urgent/emergency care.
• Excellent assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Able to remain calm and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and support 24/7 rota

Responsabilités

• Delivering expert clinical assessment
• Assess patients with wide range of conditions using NHS Pathways
• Provide safe clinical advice and onward referrals
• Support patients through difficult situations
• Offer clinical guidance to Health Advisors during escalated calls
• Make timely clinical decisions and manage risk within scope of practice
• Collaborate with wider urgent care team to maintain patient pathways and continuity of care
• Maintain clinical knowledge through training and supervision
