Job summary

Sedgwick UK is seeking a Claims Technician to support the Loss Adjuster in handling property claims in the Midlands. You will be the calm first contact for claimants, guide them through the process, and help secure fair settlements with contractors, while demonstrating empathy and initiative.

You'll work from home or in our modern Midlands office, receive comprehensive training, and have the chance to pursue the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters Cert CILA qualification as part of a rewarding

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims environment, ideally property claims.
• Excellent communication with policyholders, insurers, contractors, etc.
• Able to explain complex details clearly and negotiate settlements.
• Commitment to pursuing the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters Cert CILA.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm voice claimants rely on to guide them through the process.
• Assist the Loss Adjuster and support claims handling activities.
• Collaborate with contractors to secure timely, fair settlements.
