Sedgwick UK is recruiting a permanent, full-time Claims Technician for North England. You will be the calm first point of contact for claimants, guiding them through the process and supporting the Loss Adjuster to move cases forward.

The role offers hybrid working from home or office, comprehensive training, and the chance to pursue the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters Cert CILA, with clear growth opportunities within Sedgwick.

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims environment, ideally property claims.
• Excellent communication skills: You'll speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more. You’ll explain complex details clearly, and negotiate fair settlements for all.
• A commitment to work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the claims process as the first point of contact.
• Support the Loss Adjuster with handling claims and settlements.
• Communicate clearly with empathy while using independent thinking to move claims forward.
• Learn and develop toward the CILA qualification.
• Work from home or in an office with comprehensive training and development.
