Sedgwick in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Claims Technician (Adjusting Executive) to support loss adjusters in handling property claims from Leeds or Manchester. The role mixes office and home-based work on a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering training and the chance to pursue the CILA qualification.

You will be the first point of contact for claimants, guiding them through the process, liaising with contractors, and delivering clear, empathetic service to help people get back on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims environment, ideally property claims.
• Excellent communication with policyholders, insurers and contractors.
• Commitment to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters’ Cert CILA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Loss Adjuster throughout handling of claims.
• Guide customers through the claims process and coordinate with contractors.
• Explain complex details clearly to claimants and keep claims moving forward.
