Job summary

Sedgwick is recruiting a Claims Technician for North England to be the calm voice guiding claimants through the process. You will support the Loss Adjuster, liaise with policyholders, insurers, and contractors, and help secure fair settlements while keeping claims moving smoothly.

The role offers hybrid working from office or home, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to pursue the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in a claims environment, ideally property claims.
• Excellent communication skills with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and others.
• Commitment to work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Loss Adjuster in handling claims from start to close.
• Guide customers through the claims process and explain complex details clearly.
• Negotiate fair settlements and coordinate with contractors to get repairs completed.
• Maintain careful records and communications to move claims forward.
