Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a commercially focused Account Manager to develop new and existing business across the UK, with a specific emphasis on ion exchange resins and membrane technologies in water treatment.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage an established customer base while identifying new opportunities, understanding applications, and recommending the right technical solutions to drive growth and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical B2B sales, business development or sales management.
• Ability to understand technically complex products and communicate solutions clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities (50%) whilst growing and retaining existing customer accounts (50%).
• Build long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and key decision makers.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage opportunities through to completion.
• Contribute to business growth, market development and longer-term commercial strategy.
