Job summary
Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Account Manager/Business Development Manager to grow our UK footprint in ion exchange resins and membrane technologies. This home-based role involves nationwide travel to customers and occasional visits to the Buckinghamshire area.
You will report to the Managing Director, manage an established customer base, and identify new opportunities, translating technical needs into compelling solutions and quotations.
Qualifications
- Experience in technical B2B sales and developing long-term relationships with customers.
- Ability to understand technically complex products and translate them into commercial value.
- Knowledge of ion exchange resins or membrane technologies is a plus.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and manage a UK customer base.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities while growing existing accounts (50/50).
- Build long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and key decision makers.
- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and move opportunities to close.
- Contribute to business growth, market development and longer-term strategy.
