Job summary

Apono is hiring entry-level Business Development Representatives to drive outbound prospecting and qualify inbound/outbound leads. This remote role is based out of London, UK, with opportunity to learn in a fast-growing cloud security and AI-enabled sales environment.

Successful candidates will be curious, coachable, and eager to develop core sales skills, with access to modern playbooks and AI-assisted tools, and clear career progression within a fast-scaling GTM organization.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior sales experience required.
• Recent graduates and career changers are welcome.
• Backgrounds such as teachers, service industry professionals, retail, customer service, military service or competitive athletics are common.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic outbound prospecting across multiple channels to generate new business opportunities.
• Leverage AI-driven sales tools to engage prospects more effectively.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria to build a pipeline.
• Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings for the Account Executive team.
• Represent Apono at industry events and trade shows, engaging with prospects in person.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and outbound strategy.
• Participate in coaching, training and enablement to develop core sales skills.
