Job summary

Afterpay in the United Kingdom is seeking a BDR Manager to lead a five-person outbound team, reporting to the UK CEO. You’ll shape hiring, onboarding, coaching, outbound strategy and day-to-day performance, partnering with Sales Leadership and Marketing to drive pipeline across SMB and Mid-Market.

You will build a high‑performing, data‑driven team in a hybrid environment, continually refining messaging, targeting and tools to scale growth in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an outbound sales or business development team.
• Proven ability to hire, onboard and coach high‑performing talent.
• Data-driven approach to coaching and decision-making.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of outbound BDRs.
• Build a high-performance culture in a hybrid working environment.
• Partner with AEs to maximise pipeline generation across SMB and Mid‑Market.
• Hire and onboard new BDRs as the team grows.
• Continuously improve outbound strategy, messaging and account targeting.
• Partner with Marketing, CRM and Sales Strategy to improve how the team operates.
• Experiment with new tools, AI capabilities and ways of working.
• Use data to identify opportunities and improve team performance.
