Job summary

DBC Training is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our employer and learner portfolio across the apprenticeships and skills sector. Working remotely with occasional travel to meetings in Derby, you will identify opportunities, build relationships with employers and partners, and promote DBC's training solutions.

You will develop tailored proposals, coordinate bids and presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver programmes.

Qualifications

• Business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing opportunities (within apprenticeships)
• Account management and stakeholder engagement to build long-term relationships
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to influence decision-makers and promote services effectively

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in apprenticeships and skills
• Build and maintain relationships with employers and partners
• Develop tailored proposals and coordinate bids and presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective program design and delivery
• Monitor market trends and manage sales pipelines and forecasts
• Represent DBC Training at meetings, events, and networking forums
