KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors, seeking a Business Development Manager – Apprenticeships (4-day week). Location: Remote - with flexibility to travel for team meetings/events. Salary: up to £32,000 + OTE.

Type: Permanent, full-time salary for a 4-day week. You will proactively identify and engage with SME and Levy employer clients, promoting Apprenticeship programmes and building lasting relationships to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing new business with SMEs and Levy employers for Apprenticeship starts.
• Strong CV showing longevity as a BDM within the apprenticeship/skills arena.
• Excellent communication skills with drive to succeed.
• Solid understanding of Apprenticeships funding criteria and Levy spending.
• Experience generating employer leads, negotiating, and closing new business.
• Willingness to travel as needed for role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with businesses to promote Health and Social Care Apprenticeship programmes.
• Develop new and existing business relationships in a consultative manner.
• Work towards growth and revenue targets and report progress.
• Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss training and recruitment needs.
• Advise employers on Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
• Design training plans to meet employer needs and gaps.
• Cross-sell other products to provide a well-rounded service.
