Job summary

KM Recruitment, a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors, seeks a Business Development Manager – Apprenticeships (4-day week). This remote role offers travel for team meetings/events and a salary up to £32,000 plus OTE.

You will develop new business with SMEs and Levy employers for Apprenticeship starts across Health and Social Care, Childcare, or Business Services, building relationships, generating leads, negotiating, and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Proven BDM experience in apprenticeship or skills markets.
• Strong CV showing longevity in BDM roles.
• Excellent communication and drive to succeed.
• Understanding of Apprenticeships funding criteria.
• Ability to generate employer leads and close deals.
• Willingness to travel and hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage with businesses to promote Health and Social Care Apprenticeships.
• Develop new business and nurture existing relationships in a consultative manner.
• Work towards growth and revenue targets and report progress.
• Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss training needs.
• Advise employers on Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
• Conduct organisational needs analysis and design training plans.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities.
