Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across a large UK territory from London down to the South and Wales. You will nurture OEM customers and distribution partners, visit manufacturing environments, and propose technically suitable solutions from a broad product portfolio.

The role requires a proven field sales background in industrial consumables, a track record with OEMs, and the ability to work remotely across a national territory.

Qualifications

• Experience selling technical industrial consumables or related products.
• Proven track record selling into manufacturing environments.
• Experience with OEM customers, ideally in automotive/aerospace/engineering.
• Understanding of distributor-led sales channels and partner relationships.
• Ability to identify technical challenges and provide viable commercial solutions.
• Experience managing a territory remotely and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Split focus 50/50 between direct OEM customers and distribution partners.
• Develop a balanced mix of new business and account management opportunities.
• Re-engage dormant and lapsed accounts to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to implementation.
• Deliver annual sales revenue of approximately GBP 1 million with emphasis on new business.
