Responsibilities

• Protect property, people and assets by providing security services per site instructions
• Report irregularities and inform policy to prevent losses
• Escalate incidents promptly to Control Room/Shift Manager/Emergency Services
• Complete reports documenting observations and incidents
• Maintain site security standards and comply with legal requirements
• Cover shifts as required and work various hours
• Provide first-line support to customers and visitors with a professional attitude

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for an experienced Security Officer to join our team at GSF Car Parts in Wolverhampton as aRelief Security Officer.

You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring activity to ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will respond promptly to incidents, liaise professionally with members of the public and site management, and maintain accurate records in line with operational procedures. A strong presence, attention to detail, and commitment to upholding site security standards are essential.

As a Relief Security Officer, you will be required to support the site security team by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required, this includes working a variety of hours and shifts.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) Licence as a minimum.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets byproviding security services in direct accordance with the sites publishedAssignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
  
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
  
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate andappropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/OperationsManager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  
• Completing reports by recording observations, information,occurrences, and surveillance activities
  
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation bycomplying with legal requirements
  
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related resultsas needed
  
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors tosite, providing a professional and friendly service
  
• Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordinglyto customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
  

Requirements
