Job summary

Anchor Group Services, a leading security, cleaning and facilities management provider in the UK, is seeking a Multi-site Security Officer to cover Derby and surrounding areas. You will deliver high levels of customer service, complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and flexibility to work across multiple sites up to 60 miles away. Training and development are available through the Anchor Academy.

Qualifications

• Full 5-year employment or education history required.
• Customer service experience and confidence in handling conflict.

Responsibilities

• Protecting client property, people and assets per AI’s and site procedures.
• Preventing losses by reporting irregularities and informing offenders of policy.
• Escalating incidents to Control Room/Shift Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate.
• Completing reports by recording observations, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Maintaining the organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Providing professional and friendly service to customers and visitors on site.
• Responding to customer queries and needs with appropriate action.
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Location:Various sites as required, must be willingto travel up to 60 miles for sites in Doncaster, Barton, Derby and Daventry

Overview

An excitingopportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced Security Officer to join our established security teamas a Multi-Site Officer covering a number of assignments withinDerby and surrounding areas. You willbe required to provide a high level of customerservice to visitors to the site, complete patrols andremain vigilant at all times.

The successfulcandidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. You will need to beflexible and ready to cover different sites as required,demonstrating the initiative to adapt to each site’s individualneeds. A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle isessential.

Duties include:

• Protectingthe client’s property, people and/or assets by providingsecurity services in direct accordance with the sitespublished Assignment Instructions (AI’s) andsite-specific procedures
• Preventinglosses and damage by reporting irregularities; informingoffenders of policy and procedures
• Preventing andescalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriatemanner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/OperationsManager/Emergency Services as appropriate for seriousincidents
• Completingreports by recording observations, information, occurrences, andsurveillance activities
• Maintainingorganisation's stability and reputation by complying withlegal requirements
• Contributing toteam effort by accomplishing related results asneeded
• Acting as afirst line support to customers and visitors to site,providing a professional and friendly service
• Understandingthe needs of our customer, respond accordingly tocustomer queries and requests and take appropriateaction
• Maintainingprofessional conduct at all times

Requirements

• Full5-year employment or education checkable history
• Validfrontline SIA licence DS or SG
• Valid UK DrivingLicence with access to a vehicle
• CustomerService experience and confidence to handle conflict in acorrect manner
• Flexible tomeet the job requirements
