Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking Relief Security Officers for The Elephant development in London. You will protect people and property, patrol various areas, and provide a visible, professional presence with top-tier customer service.

The role requires an active frontline SIA Door Supervisor licence and flexibility to cover shifts. Training access via Anchor Academy and discounted courses are offered as part of a broad benefits package.

About the Role

As a Relief Security Officer, you'llbe at the forefront of safety and customer service across this exciting newdestination. Working across retail, residential and public spaces, you'll carryout patrols, respond to incidents, support visitors and residents, and helpmaintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who visits The Elephant.

In this role, you willbe required to support the security team by being flexible and reliable tocover shifts as required, including working avariety of shifts and hours to meet operational needs.

Duties Include:

• Provide flexible cover during periods of holiday,sickness and absence , ensuring service standards are maintained at alltimes.
  
• Protect people, property and assets inaccordance with site procedures and Assignment Instructions.
  
• Conduct regular patrols across retail,residential and public areas, identifying and reporting any security or safetyconcerns.
  
• Provide a visible, professional andreassuring presence for residents, visitors, retailers and contractors.
  
• Respond promptly and effectively toincidents, emergencies and requests for assistance.
  
• Monitor access control, challengeunauthorised persons and ensure site security procedures are followed.
  
• Manage and de-escalate incidentsinvolving anti-social behaviour, suspicious activity or conflict.
  
• Operate CCTV systems and othersecurity equipment where authorised.
  
• Complete accurate incident reports,occurrence logs and electronic records.
  
• Support planned events, communityactivities and promotional initiatives across the development.
  
• Liaise professionally with emergencyservices, local authorities and other stakeholders when required.
  
• Deliver excellent customer service byassisting visitors and providing information where needed.
  
• Maintainissued equipment, radios and uniform standards whilst promoting professionalismat all times.
  

Requirements

• Essential: Validfrontline SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) Licence.
  
• Desirable: CCTVLicence and/or Previous CCTV/Control Room experience.
  
• Flexible to provide shift cover as and whenrequired.
  
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
  
• Previous security experience within retail,corporate, residential or public-facing environments.
  
• Customer service experience and confidencehandling conflict professionally.
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional underpressure.
  
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  
• Flexible approach to shift work including weekendsand bank holidays.
  
• Professionalappearance and high personal standards.
