Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, seeks a Relief Security Officer in Bristol. The role focuses on maintaining safety, following client policies, and deterring trouble on site. You will operate with a uniform, and an SIA licence must be clearly displayed.

Ideal candidates are 18+, strong communicators with customer service flair and comfortable using digital devices for admin tasks. Training and progression opportunities are available within a large international company.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to enhance site safety.
• Follow company policy on loss prevention; ensure staff and visitors are safe.
• Deter troublemakers lawfully on site and report incidents.
• Observe and report incidents using the correct systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and identify local developments.
• Implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures as needed.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches when required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy security base at all times.
• Present yourself professionally with a full uniform and visible SIA licence.

Position: Relief Security Officer

Location: Bristol

Your Time at Work

As a Relief Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client’s premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayed
