Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is seeking a Relief Security Officer for the Barnstaple store. You will protect staff, premises and customers while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires a full SIA licence, flexibility with hours and shifts, and duties include patrolling, reporting incidents, and following fire and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full SIA licence.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the store.
• Conducting searches when required.
• Dealing with any security incidents in store and completing relevant incident report forms.
• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the store, its staff and customers.
• Carry out Company Policy on any loss prevention.
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified.
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.

As a Security Officer you will ensure the safety of staff, their premises, assets and the general public, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe and secure environment. You will conduct yourself in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the company, ensuring full uniform is worn and your 'SIA licence' is clearly displayed at all times.
