Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer in Bishop Stortford/area. You will provide a visible deterrent, protect staff and premises, and report incidents using standard systems.

The role requires an SIA license and own transport, with duties across on-site locations. You will work as part of a large international company with ongoing training, progression opportunities, and a commitment to safety and professional service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA license.
• Must have own transport.
• Aged 18 or over and able to work in a security role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using digital devices and systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to protect the client's premises and staff.
• Follow company policy on loss prevention and ensure safety.
• Deter potential troublemakers on site and observe/report incidents.
• Maintain the security base in a clean and tidy condition.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Ensure full SIA license is displayed on site.

Position: Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Your Time at Work

As a Relief Security Officer your duties include:

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
